About Us

We’re two young athletes from Canada, and Vanta started with a problem we lived every day. I’m Anthony, a competitive soccer player and trainer. In soccer, breathing is everything, especially in cold air, during long sprints, and under constant pressure. My co-founder, Randy, is a hockey player. In the rink, his teammates were constantly dealing with stuffed noses from the cold, air. One day, a teammate showed up with generic drugstore nasal strips to help. They worked, but only briefly.

The strips slipped off once practice got intense, could not withstand sweat, and never opened the nose enough to make a real difference. They were made from cheap plastic, felt uncomfortable on the skin, and simply were not built for real training environments. I ran into the same issues in soccer. When breathing becomes a distraction, focus drops.

We searched endlessly for a nasal dilator that was comfortable, reliable, and strong enough for serious athletes, something you could put on and forget about. We could not find one. So we decided to build it ourselves.

Since launching in January 2025, we have spent countless hours researching breathing science, materials, adhesives, and manufacturing. We failed more times than we can count. Magnetic designs were too bulky. Plastic designs were too flimsy. Some prototypes looked promising but fell apart once sweat, motion, and intensity were involved.

After constant iteration, we finally arrived at what became the Vanta nasal strip. It delivers a stronger lift, stays secure through intense sessions, feels comfortable on the skin, and holds up under real athletic conditions.

Vanta was built from firsthand experience, frustration, and an obsession with getting the details right.
